Meet Our New Baby: Canon EOS 1100D

Say hi to our family's new baby, Canon EOS 1100D.
Canon EOS 1100D

We bought this last July 21, 2013 at SM Bacoor. Original price for this package is more or less 23, 000 pesos. We purchased it in cash so we got a discount.

It's been years since we purchased a digital camera and it has also been years since the last time we get to use it. Why? Simply because it's not working anymore. Haha. So, to cut the story short, after 2 years or so, finally, we already have a new camera. big grin

My thoughts on this product:
I chose Canon over Nikon because everyone says Canon is easier to use. True to their words, Canon is very easy to use. For new users or beginners like me, automatic mode and other predefined modes/settings are already available. For those who are already a "pro", manual and other manual modes/settings are also available and very easy to access. Quality of pictures are also very impressive. I love also the fact that aside from taking pictures, we can also shoot a video from it.

Red Mango, Robinsons Place Manila

Hectic. One word to describe our schedule.

So, for a quick catch up, L and I decided to go to Robinsons Manila to stroll and of course, to eat! We went to Kamayan (see separate blog post:) for a buffet lunch. Then after that,we decided to just stroll and talk. And that's when we saw this yogurt place at the ground floor level of Robinsons Place Manila.

Since we were already so tired walking around, L decided to buy some yogurt just so we can sit. Hahaha!

I'm not a fan of yogurts. When I say I'm not a fan, it means I don't eat yogurts. Never. I don't like the sour taste. No offense to the yogurts lover out there. kiki

As much as I'm not a fan of yogurts, L loves yogurts! And I learned from him that Red Mango offers one of the best yogurts here in the Philippines. He also said that it is one of the best yogurts he ever tasted. (Of course, he also have tasted yogurts from different "yogurt shops", locally and internationally.)
Loving his yogurt.
Red Mango originated in South Korea and has now 150 stores worldwide, 10 of those are in the Philippines. It offers, frozen yogurts, yogurt smoothies, waffles, coffee and tea and gourmet sandwiches. Different toppings for you yogurt is also available.
Red Mango offer's one of the best yogurt in town. grin
Prices are very affordable (85 pesos for a small cup of yogurt). They also have promos like free froyo upsize every Monday. Yes, every Monday! So if it's Monday, you'll get a medium cup of yogurt for only 85 pesos. :)
Free froyo upsize every Monday.
I also love their red and orange theme, especially the mural above their counter.

We didn't get to taste everything, but their yogurt is really a must try. smile

Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Pink Flame

Long time, no post. I've been really busy with being a student and a mother at the same time. Well, actually, I'm still busy. But I already feel guilty for not posting anything here on my blog.

So, for my first post for the month of July, I'll share to you my first ever matte lipstick!

I'm not a make-up junkie. I can leave our home without putting any make-up, even powder. That's why buying cosmetics is a once-in-a-blue-moon happening for me.

For my first ever matte lipstick, I decided to go for Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Pink Flame.
Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Pink Flame

My thoughts on this product:

I find it easy to apply and does not have any "strong" odor or taste unlike other lippies that comes with fruity smell even some with odor that I really don't like. It is also not that "dry-looking" when you apply it on your lips considering it is a matte lipstick. I also like the black tube as its packaging but the cap comes off easily. I'm afraid it might goes off inside my bag and mess up with my things. The lasting power is not that great but will last for 2-3 hours without much drinking and eating. Haha! I drink lots of water that's why I have to reapply every hour or two.

I'm a morena and I'm a bit conservative when it comes to pink lipsticks. But, this shade just made me look young, happy, blooming, and in-love. In short, it goes well with my skin tone. kiki

Over all, for 120 pesos (on sale, Original Price:155 pesos), this matte lipstick is quite at par with its value. You'll get a decent lipstick with such an affordable price, I guess one of the lowest price you could get for a Matte Lipstick.

Ever Bilena also offer other shades for their Matte collection and for their other collection of lipsticks.. They also have other cosmetic products such as eyeshadows, eyeliners, mascara, and BB cream among others. (All at a very affordable price!)

Again, I'm no make-up junkie. I'm not a professional make-up blogger so I can't provide you make-up tips and tricks or even professional advice and review about this product. But a little swatch might help you. wink
