Quick Lunch at The French Baker, SM Bacoor

Last week, we went to SM Bacoor to buy some groceries and also to have a look on what's new at Surplus. rolling on the floor

After hours of walking (hahaha!), we decided to have a quick lunch at The French Baker since my stepdad is on a "diet".

The French Baker is not just about breads, they also have meals such as soup, salads, pasta dishes and more.

Here's a look of what we ordered:
PIZZA NEW YORK STYLE
RED SAUCE ALL-MEAT PIZZA

CHICKEN CORDON BLEU

The menu says it comes with a creamy herb sauce. Look at the photo. does the sauce looks creamy to you? The veggies are bland, the chicken itself is also bland. Aargh!
We also ordered CLUBHOUSE SANDWICH (for my stepdad) and GRILLED CHICKEN AND MANGO SALSA (for my younger brother) but I wasn't able to take a photo of it.

Anyways, I'll recommend the pizza and grilled chicken but definitely not the chicken cordon bleu.grumpy

Bibingkinitan! serves mini-bibingkas and their own blend Barako coffee. Original mini-bibingkas cost 20pesos/piece while the coffee costs 35pesos/8oz cup. They also have macapuno bibingkinitan, ube bibingkinitan and pastillas bibingkinitan but they are seasonal. Bibingkinitan cheese-max which is their new offering costs 25pesos/piece. They also have combo meals.

My grandma love these mini-bibingkas that's why whenever we went to the mall, we make sure to buy a box of mini-bibingkas for her.

Personally, I also love Bibingkinitan! Bibingkas are usually available only during BER-seasons together with puto-bumbong. With Bibingkinitan!, we can enjoy this delicacy all year-round.

Taste:
Mini-Bibingka
The bibingkas are really soft, moist and fluffy. Actually, a piece of it was left inside our ref for already 2 nights. I decided to eat it today, for breakfast, and put it inside the microwave. Surprisingly, it is still as soft and moist like the freshly-bought bibingkas. But, I want a little more cheese and "itlog-na-pula" on those bibingkas.big grin

Price:
20 pesos per piece for these moist and soft bibingkas is not that bad at all. I guess it is worth the price. They also offer affordable combo meals.

Availability:
They have more than 200 stores nationwide! surprise

Red Mango, Robinsons Place Manila

Hectic. One word to describe our schedule.

So, for a quick catch up, L and I decided to go to Robinsons Manila to stroll and of course, to eat! We went to Kamayan (see separate blog post:) for a buffet lunch. Then after that,we decided to just stroll and talk. And that's when we saw this yogurt place at the ground floor level of Robinsons Place Manila.

Since we were already so tired walking around, L decided to buy some yogurt just so we can sit. Hahaha!

I'm not a fan of yogurts. When I say I'm not a fan, it means I don't eat yogurts. Never. I don't like the sour taste. No offense to the yogurts lover out there. kiki

As much as I'm not a fan of yogurts, L loves yogurts! And I learned from him that Red Mango offers one of the best yogurts here in the Philippines. He also said that it is one of the best yogurts he ever tasted. (Of course, he also have tasted yogurts from different "yogurt shops", locally and internationally.)
Loving his yogurt.
Red Mango originated in South Korea and has now 150 stores worldwide, 10 of those are in the Philippines. It offers, frozen yogurts, yogurt smoothies, waffles, coffee and tea and gourmet sandwiches. Different toppings for you yogurt is also available.
Red Mango offer's one of the best yogurt in town. grin
Prices are very affordable (85 pesos for a small cup of yogurt). They also have promos like free froyo upsize every Monday. Yes, every Monday! So if it's Monday, you'll get a medium cup of yogurt for only 85 pesos. :)
Free froyo upsize every Monday.
I also love their red and orange theme, especially the mural above their counter.

We didn't get to taste everything, but their yogurt is really a must try. smile

Gerry's Grill, SM City Bacoor

Everytime we go to SM Bacoor, Gerry's Grill is always on our "where-to-eat list".

Why? Of course, because of their food! We just love their food that we keep coming back. We were even joking about Gerry's Grill being our fave restaurant that when my boyfriend decided to finally propose, he'll do it there.

Interior and Ambiance:
I love the laid-back feel of this restaurant. Also their "nature" theme. It makes you feel closer to nature. The restaurant is quite spacious too. There are also LED TV's on the wall for some entertainment. I should have given them five stars but I find their lighting a little bit dim.

Service:
The staffs are very attentive. And very accommodating too. The food were served almost an hour after we ordered.

Food:
Four and a half stars. I love their food. Really. But once, before, we ordered something we did not like that much. Anyway, our favorite is their "Sizzling Binagoongang Baboy". We always, no exaggeration, we really always order it. Plus, their food is really affordable. Their meals range from 190up and is already good for up to 3 persons.

Chicken Lollipop with Garlic-Mayo Dip - P185.00
Love the dip. Chicken were crunchy.
Bottomless Iced Tea
Bagoong Rice - P145.00
Must try!
Sizzling Binagoongang Baboy
The best!
What keeps us coming back.
Their menu usually consists of Filipino food. They also have group meals, kiddie meals, and merienda value meals.

Go, give it a try the next time you dine out with your family or friends or even with your special someone.
